Casa Brisa is new to our collection this year (2019). Less than 250 metres from the sea in Roche’s northwest corner, its location is ideal for families with small children and couples or groups looking to make the most of what is one of the Costa de La Luz’s most beautiful beaches.
This is a house that maintains its simple Andalusian essence but that at the same time offers total functionality (see the bathrooms and kitchen). It is also a house that gets plenty of sunlight, thanks to east facing windows in both the kitchen and sitting room, and this makes it a good option if you are looking to visit when the days are shorter. For the hotter months, there is a large covered terrace with space for eating and relaxing, which faces west and therefore enjoys the best of the evening sun. The house has been recently refurbished, and the décor is light and contemporary, being nicely complemented by a collection of old local maps on the walls. All this makes for an easy, welcoming living experience.
Casa Brisa is built on one floor, its L-shape providing the protected corner for the large terrace and housing the bedroom wing down one side and the living area down the other. The living area has the sitting room at one end and the dining room at the other, the latter connecting to the kitchen. All this opens on to the covered terrace, with views over the lawn to the pool (there is an optional pool fence). Off the kitchen there is a patio for drying clothes and also the third bathroom. The bedroom wing is home to the four bedrooms (two doubles and two twins -one of which with a pull-out bed) and the two other bathrooms. The main bedroom has a bathroom ensuite and French windows that open on to the garden and pool beyond. Two of the other bedroom have French windows opening on to the main terrace.
It is a short walk (400m) to the local shop, pharmacy, bar, and children’s playground. Roche also has its own tennis courts and five-a-side football pitches and a couple of bars. In the summer months, there are several beach bars/restaurants to choose from, and within a 5-10 minute drive you have a larger selection of places to eat all year round. The area offers an endless list of activities, information on many of which you will find here on our website and on our Facebook page. And if you book with us, we provide you with detailed information on all our recommendations, details on local amenities, and our up-to-date guide to the best of everything! You could spend a wonderful holiday here without a car, and just hire bikes; but, assuming you will have a car, it’s 15 minutes to Conil, 20 minutes to the hill-top village of Vejer-de-la-Frontera, 30 minutes to Cadiz, 40 minutes to Tarifa and Jerez, and 90 minutes to Seville, all of which are worth visiting. So, it’s good to have a car and probably worth coming for two weeks rather than one!!!!
