The location is perfect for day trips; we went to A Cornuna, Bares (the northernmost point in Spain), and, of course, Santiago de Compostela. All are with easy driving distance, as is the little town of Cedeira, where you'll find lots of bars and small restaurants and some shops and supermarkets. Being able to speak some basic Spanish helps a lot in this region, because mass tourism hasn't been invented here yet, and let's hope it stays that way. The remote location (don't stay here without a car) will probably see to that.
For anyone looking to experience real and rural Spain, a wonderful house on a perfect spot, look no further.
