We had a super week here. We were two grandparents, four parents and five children ranging from 5 down to 1. The house was roomy and as described, the garden was large with plenty of sunny or shady areas and the pool was great. It was big, with shallow steps leading into the water so apart from the baby they could all get in independently. it was also very safe, walled, with two access gates which could be bolted. The area around it had plenty of sun loungers and a lovely seating area where the adults sat and chatted in the evenings when the kids were in bed. Although the beach was just at the end of the road our kids loved the pool so much we only went once. In fact we can't comment on the area much as the property had all we needed so we barely left it except to shop for food.
It was clean and spacious with some lovely and interesting pieces of old furniture. The owner was in touch to bring round a piece of baby furniture we needed
and we had a friendly welcoming note and some fruit waiting for us when we arrived.they also gave us their mobile number in case we needed anything. We could have done with a stair gate for the one year old but managed by creating a barrier with a piece of furniture and it worked fine.
The village had a few shops just a walk away and a great shaded playground nearby.
There was only one restaurant within walking distance, on the beach, which we tried, but as there was a built in barbecue in the garden and a large outdoor seating area we mostly ate in when the kids were in bed.
One important point- not much English is spoken in this part of Spain so you need a dictionary or phone app.
We had such a great family holiday here. We all enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone, particularly those looking for a safe pool environment for young children.
